We realized that we were not very attractive to others and that it was difficult to engage in playful activities…and we began a careful plan to lose weight and get fit. We lost forty pounds each, became healthier, happier, and more attractive. We want to look good for our friends and partners, and we want to be able physically to enjoy the playful aspects of the lifestyle. Guys, if you played high school football twenty or thirty years ago and now weigh an extra thirty pounds…you are NOT “athletic.” Ladies, if you have an hour-glass figure and all the sand is in the bottom…you are not “average.” Be honest when you fill out your profile. [B]About D/D Free:[/B] Although we drink moderately, we avoid drugs and prefer not to be around people who are using them. We don’t find being drunk or stoned to be sexy. We are also concerned, as everyone should be, about the transmission of disease through the lifestyle. We are very clean and disease-free, and want to stay that way. We do not meet with our friends when we are sick, even if we had something planned for a long time. If you have a cold or flu or yeast infection or any form of STD…please do not share it with us. We don’t find that sexy, either. [B]About Smoking:[/B] We have viewed many couples that caught our eye and we liked what we read and saw, only to discover that one or both smoke. We are not smokers, and while we don’t want to make anyone else uncomfortable, we can’t really take the taste and smell. If this is a solvable problem, then we are extremely interested in chatting and meeting. [B]Upping the Ante[/B]: We keep current photos posted here, and we also like to exchange photos with our new friends. [B]What We Don’t Understand:[/B] We don’t understand why people would be on this site and not be honest; honesty is an absolute necessity for lifestyle relationships. We don’t understand why a profile would be listed as “woman,” and we find out later that it is a couple. We don’t understand why a “couple” profile will have a dozen photos of the woman and none of the man. We don’t understand why a profile wouldn’t have photos. We don’t understand why the photos some people post are twenty years old…or of somebody else. We don’t understand why some people will not reply when we write to them. And we don’t understand why single males ignore our request to not contact us. If we have written to you, it is because we’re interested in you. Please have the courtesy to reply, even if it is to say, “No thanks.” We’re big s and can handle it. If you’re a couple, please post photos of both of you; we are a couple and we both want to see both of you. We aren’t “network collectors,” and only accept invitations from those we know well. Declining an invite doesn’t mean we aren’t interested…only that we don’t know you well enough to accept.
